Gardeners' Circle meets on the 3rd Monday of every month excluding December and January.

 Meetings are held at the

 South Perth Civic Centre
 Corner of South Terrace and Sandgate Street, South Perth.
Main Hall to the left of the Library


Doors open (Main Hall) 6:40 pm.

Bring, Browse and Buy open from 6:50 pm.

Meeting Commences 7:30 pm sharp.



 Gardeners’ Circle WA follows all State directives regarding Covid 19, including:
  • Wearing masks as personal choice

The meetings include presentations from Gardeners’ Circle members and guest speakers on a wide range of topics. Books, videos and DVDs on gardening, horticulture, pests and diseases, garden design and famous gardens can be borrowed from the library. Members bring in flowers, foliage and pot plants from their gardens for the seasonal Plant Display. Before and after the formal part of the meeting club members sell their produce and plants and the 'Pop Up Shop' stocks a variety of useful items for gardeners. There are raffle and door prizes and a delicious supper is served at the end of every meeting. Members are asked to contribute to the supper table.

  • Guest Speakers 
Guest speakers are invited to each meeting to share valuable information on various topics and also to do demonstrations.




  • Practical Information
Benefit from the wealth of 
knowledge among the members, whether it concerns plant and pest advice, garden features and design or general information on virtually every aspect of gardens and gardening.

  • The Library 
The library now holds over 400 books,
videos and DVDs and is open at every meeting for members to borrow items. Older stock is sold off at greatly reduced second-hand prices every now and then to allow space for new items to be purchased.

  • Plant Sales
Members grow a variety of plants for sale at meetings, including old-fashioned and unusual plants not readily available in nurseries.

Members are asked to bring a plate to share each meeting.

If you have any problems or queries on plants bring them along to discuss with and find answers from others.
Members contribute short plant profiles, for example on their favourite plants of the moment, on popular plants in fashion or on unusual plants they have come across in their travels.
